Pharmaceuticals wastes are drugs that can no longer be used because of being expired, unused, spilled, withdrawn, recalled, damaged, contaminated, or for any other reason. It also includes discarded items heavily contaminated during the handling of pharmaceuticals, such as bottles, vials, and boxes containing pharmaceutical residues, gloves, masks, and connecting tubing. The improper disposal of unused medicines is a growing problem throughout the world, hence it is disposed by our facility with proper procedures.
